For an optimal and fast realization of our development ideas in the cooler area, we rely on a flow simulation from Solid Works. The solution is based on numerical fluid mechanics integrated into our CAD software. This enables us to quickly and easily simulate fluid flows in our engineering concepts and calculate the performance.
As these tasks are very complex and CPU-intensive, we rely on the enormous computing power of the latest AMD THREADRIPPER processors. The Ryzen Threadripper 7980X processor with 64 cores and 128 threads, used in our development system, is being utilized to the maximum, as the software uses all cores efficiently. By switching to the latest AMD HEDT platform, we have been able to significantly reduce computing times and thus considerably increase our efficiency.
