      Hey this looks intentional :)

      Did you guys design this so you could put a thermal pad in place to offer some VRM cooling too?

      Looks like it might have been by design, but wondering if it is and if not then if you think it's a good idea.

      That space between the Heatkiller IV and my Gigabyte Aorus X399 Gaming 7's VRM looks perfect for a thermal pad (see attached pic).

      Hey JLecht,
      this was actually not intentional. We agree, it looks as if you could place a thermal pad there. This would thermally couple the aluminum VRM heatsink to the aluminum front plate. Of course, this aluminum part has no contact with the liquid, as is our rule for all aluminum parts in all our products. So, doing so would increase the surface area that you could utilize for vrm cooling, but it would still be completely passive cooling.
