Or use Mayhems Biocide+ & Inhibitor+, its fantastic product. For years I have been using Mayhems Extreme with super results but I only used copper and brass so it was OK. Now! since I use copper, brass and some Stainless I have been using Biocide+ & Inhibitor+ it for over 2 years with Heatkiller blocks with great results and even if I was to use only copper and brass again I would still use this new product, more protection is better. But the best thing about this product is that you don't need …

    Coolant Seepage?

If your are using good quality liquid that you trust, you can flush the whole system including blocks annually is fine. I have some old Heatkiller blocks that are about 7 years old still running my org. Titans and they still look like new. I have never opened any of my blocks, there is no need if you flush them annually with good cleaner or even with distilled water. That seep will most likely be there always, its nature of the block I would not lose my sleep over that

    Coolant Seepage?

Perfectly normal, very common across all brands, its just a matter of more or less seepage and this is actually small amount (good quality of Heatkiller) The channels are design to direct flow of your liquid and if its seeps slightly over its no big deal at all, whats important is a good seal by the edges of the block

    Oring D5 Pump doubts

    Adam - - WATERCOOL Support - English

It looks new, although, it doesn't happen very often but pump is one of those components that can stop dead at any time for no reason. Btw. Heatkiller reservoir tube might be the most beautiful reservoir tanks on the market Enjoy it

If you OK with the temp and flow rate as I believe it will decrease slightly ( it might) there is nothing wrong leaving it that way.

Hi Jacob, Oooo, don't get me wrong, I've used your product long enough to know you wouldn't use cheep material and I'm sure that includes plexi glass. Maybe I'm one of very few guys out there that just simply don't like plexi, I just don't like the look of it, that's all I love your previous blocks for Titans ( Black or Hole Edition, or HEATKILLER IV for GTX 980 Ti and TITAN X - PURE Copper Nickle. I use only distilled water with Biocide and Inhibitor so that's another reason not to care to see …

  • User Avatar

Thanks for the info. Its not the performance, its the plexi I am not to crazy about. Thanks anyways.

  • User Avatar

Are there any plans on making Waterblocks for Titan V without the plexiglass window, I'm not crazy about it. I love the older models e.g. Black Edition for Titan Black and 780Ti or HEATKILLER IV for TITAN X and GTX 1080Ti - ACETAL I just got 2 Titan V and would love to put them under water but the current blocks just not appealing to me..sorry

Thanks Jacob for your prompted response, Yes I was referring to next future Asus workstation M/B I realize x99 is behind now. I always use Workstation M/B's and that won't change from now on. If you guys reconsider in near future, I can bet there is a lot more customers that will be able to pay much higher $ for them than they cost now. Please keep that in mind for near future I love Heatkiller blocks......period, they are my favorites in every way you look. Thanks Jacob

I have used HEATKILLER MB-X KIT ASUS for my previous Rampage motherboards for years with absolute pleasure, it's the nicest waterblock anyone can create, I still use 4 of them on my home network systems. Now!! I own 4 of the Asus x99 E-WS 10G workstations and I know its specialty board so no one makes blocks for them except I think there is someone by name Liquid Extasy and first I don't trust them with the quality and second, the blocks are ugly......literally and the language barrier is to muc…

It's almost impassible to damage your CPU due to thermals, your PC would shot down first before anything anything else, unless your M/B has issues. Also, Its almost impossible to physically damage that block itself, its build like a tank , unless you strip the threads itself, or drop the block from far enough distance but other than that I have 3 of the Nickle version, running 2 of my 2011 and 1x 2011-3 and temperatures are fantastic, better than any block I've own so far.

  • User Avatar

Thanks Christian, I don't know if you referring to the block I was asking about, if your response is to the image above than that's not the block I only uploaded the image to give an example that I have them currently and they are not single slot, in fact they are 1,1/2 slot. I was asking about this block : If your response is in fact to that bock..thanks, unfortunately like I said I already purchased from EK, it wasn't my first choice as I was getting Heatkiller blocks always, but not hearing f…

  • User Avatar

Well..Its been almost a week and I didn't know this would be that hard to answer. Why I'm asking, because on one of my builds I have 4 of this blocks and they are 1.1/2 slot so that's the reason I'm asking is this blocks I specified above are single or something similar to this blacks. Since no one cares I got blocs from EK, so at this point no need to answer my question, you can close this thread.

Hey Guys, I'm planing on getting aditional 2 EVGA 1080Ti's total of 6 GPU\s for rendering but mostly password decrypting workstation using Asus x99 E-WS 10G motherboard. I was wondering if this particular waterblock is single slot: HEATKILLER® IV for TITAN X and GTX 1080Ti - ACETAL Nickle Product no.: 15583. Thanks Product no.: 15583

The green stuff its probably plasticizer from tubing. If you only into Distilled water like I am get yourself Mayhems Biocide, its cheep but really works well. I haven't clean my system for about 3.5 years now and its sparkles there is no need of disassemble if you clean it and prepare the right way to begin with and then use proper additives.Watercool blocks are super good quality so there will be no flaking of any sort of plating and other bad things like with some of the EK products

  • User Avatar

Out of curiosity about year ago I was opening one of my blocks to see whats going on after almost 2 years of use with Distilled water and Mayhems Biocide Extreme, this was only test to see how well the Biocide worked and I was very pleasantly surprised, clean as new. Anyways, here are some pics to help you figure that out
